Steven was an amazing young man with a smile that would light up a room. Beloved son, brother, nephew and friend.
Even as we mourn the loss of him in our lives, we must also rejoice in the joy that his presence gave to all who knew him.
Steven was a young man who thought of others. At an age when very few think of their own mortality, Steven not only thought of his but considered what to do when his time to leave us came. Steven made the choice to leave this world a Hero and with this choice, saved multiple families from facing the devastating pain that we all face today with his absence.
Steven will not only live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him but in the hearts and bodies of the people he so generously made the choice to save.

I was so very sorry to hear the news of Steven's accident and death. I can't imagine the grief your family is suffering. Please know that many of Steven's former teachers and friends and I are praying for your family. I'll always remember his little smile, and his sweet nature. God bless you all.

Steven was a sixth grade student in my homeroom class at Izard County Consolidated Middle School. His sweet smile, twinkling eyes, and kind heart made him a joy to be around every day. He was compassionate and cared for his other classmates and me. I am so sad Steven is no longer enjoying life here on earth, but I believe he is so happy in Heaven and he will be waiting to meet us when we get there. My sincere sympathy to all of Steven's family. You're in my payers!
