I would always help Mrs.Willie every chance I had after I got out of school. It’s was a blessing to be able to help her . I knew she enjoyed me helping because she will call my name from her bedroom while I was on the end of the street.

Remembering Willie is a treat! Our journey through life has brought us tears, laughter, fun, and many memories! I will miss our evening porch visits, road trips, and "guess what?" phone calls but I know that you are with me in spirit. Despite living in different parts of the country for the majority of our friendship, you were someone I could always turn to for a genuine smile, a helping hand, and a truthful word.

With that, I wipe my tears dry and my laughter fades away but the memories will live on forever.

May God bless and keep your family, Leona, JC, Warren, and everyone else whose life you touched.

Much love,
Lou Dovie Hill

What great times we shared! One of my fondest memories is when you would ask me to fry you a pork chop when you came to Kansas City. Now, every time I fry pork chops, I will think of you and smile.

Love you,

Willie (Wibby to me),
You will be sadly missed, but I will always remember the conversations we had from time to time. As a family member, you would tell it like it was. When I bake pound cakes using your recipe, oh what sweet memories I will have. We loved you, but God loved me more!

Cousin Willie,
Reflecting back remembering our phone calls talking about this that and the other, laughing and just enjoying each other.
You fought a good fight, no more pain or suffering. Wish I could taste another piece of your wonderful pound cake, but Mom's got the recipe! Gonna miss you!

So Many Memories
No matter what time of day or night when I would speak to Willie, these words always came from her. " Ummphh, Ummphh, Ummphh"
somewhere in the conversation! She was a true soldier who fought until the end. Cuz, truly you will be missed.

Love You

In fond memory of a cousin, former classmate, and friend, Willie. She is to be remembered as one who tenaciously held on to life, refusing to give up despite her physical frailties. The times we spent in fellowship and prayer will be cherished memories for us. We will miss her calling and asking if we have cooked anything sweet lately. To God be the glory!

I have so many fond memories of Willie. Especially in the summer times visiting dad in Detroit , and we will go over and stay the weekend. Having her fuss at us, especially when Regina and Shay get together clowning, and Porsha, Kim, Sylvia, Tricie, and I on the side laughing.

I will treasure those elephants you gifted me forever.... You will definitely be missed, Rest in Peace Wille!

Aunt Willie was a strong woman and taught her nieces to be strong women. She made me feel like I was her child. I will miss her so, but I have no doubt she's in the best place she could ever be. She's now with uncle Bobby ,Grandma, much family and many friends having a time oh,what a time.
Love you Aunt Willie
