Alvin Lee Mashburn

Alvin L. Mashburn, age 67, of Covington, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Horis A. Ward Chapel, at 4:00 p.m.

A Georgia native, Mr. Mashburn was an US Army veteran and retired from the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union #72 after 37 years of service. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be greatly missed by his wife, Lynda Mashburn; daughters, Tricia Mashburn and Tracey (Jonny) Mashburn Johnson; grandchildren, BJ, Wesley, Ethan, Hannah and Julia Hope; brothers & sisters, Jeanette Delong, Calvin Mashburn and Larry Minnola; nieces & nephews, Cassie, Cameron, Brandon, Brent, Dustin, Lacretia, Scott, Debbie, Donna, Michele, Terry and Red.

He was preceded in death by son, Kaleb Mashburn.
