Even months after you have left and have gone home grandma, its still hard to express in words how much you are missed. Although I didn't get to spend much time with you I miss your big smile and laughter. I will never forget the light of love I always saw in your eyes when we were together. Missing you much grandma.

 "AND SO IT IS WRITTEN"
  
One of the certainties of life is that change is constant. Each of us are forced to endure those changes even in our most prepared or unprepared state. Life is remarkable in every aspect. Rich with its' own twists and turns, ups and downs, peaks and valleys. It is certain to intrigue, reward, provoke, encourage, disappoint, and perhaps the greatest act of all.....prepare.  
Life is a journey. Some journeys are cut short in only a few years, while others are allowed to travel across space and time. Such was this journey. Filled with color and joy, love and hope, faith and strength. I admired her for her tenacity, her wit, and for being true to herself in every aspect.
The matriarch of our family....she was an absolute treasure - A simple spirit that soared above every dull moment, and was certain to bring her own unique blend of magic, spark, and flair to any occasion of which she was privileged to touch.
I would be fortunate to see her again one last time as she neared the end of her journey. I love you I said, to which she replied; I love you too...do you have your black suit ready? Avoiding her question I said, your eyes are so beautiful, to which she replied...Still? Yes I said.
"And so it is written" that on that special day she was called on by our Savior to transitioned from this life into the next. Her amazing journey ended here, but will be remembered as one that has truly impacted my life in such a positive and loving way. I celebrate her today, and pray that my own life will be a symbol of encouragement for someone some day, the way her life was for mine.

May your soul rest in peace my beautiful Bea, till we meet again.

Words cannot express how much I'll miss you.  We've come a long way. All those trips we have taken, those parties we share, the dinners and your humor to top it all.
