Daniel Webster Shattles Jr

Daniel W. Shattles, age 71, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Conyers Chapel (formerly Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel), at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, in Conyers.

A Georgia native, Mr. Shattles was a retired truck driver. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Neoma P. Shattles of Jackson; children, Renee Shattles Dearman, Russell Adam Shattles and Kimberly Shattles Mitchell; grandchildren, John Michael O’Neal, Jr., Ryan Levi Dearman, Lisa Shattles, Tonya Shattles, Tyler Mitchell, Morgan Mitchell, Tag Mitchell and Maggie Mitchell; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Strube, Sharon Scanlon and Susan Erwin; ex-wife, Connie Shattles; several nieces & nephews

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Darlene Shattles and granddaughter, Amy Shattles.
