Henry Herman Mitchell Jr.

Henry's life on earth was full and well-lived; He served our country through two tours in Viet Nam as a communications technician, receiving The Army Commendation Medal for exceptionally meritorious service in support of our troops. Henry went on to give 30 years of service to AT&T, 22 of those years in Columbus, Ohio, from which he retired in 2000.

Henry is survived by his wife, Gail Mitchell; daughter, NeCia Mitchell; son Henry H. Mitchell III (Mandi); son Richard John-James Mitchell, special friends Kenneth and Jennifer Duncan. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Henry and Winifred Mitchell, sister Rose Ann Mitchell, grandparents John and Zattie Mitchell and maternal grandparents Perry and Gladys Ellis.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services – Horis A. Ward Chapel.
