Walter Lamar Young

Walter Lamar Young, age 93, of Conyers, passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services- Horis A. Ward Chapel, at 2 pm, with Rev. Bob Halstead officiating. Interment will follow at Green Meadows Memorial Gardens in Conyers.

Mr. Young is survived by: children; Horace & Vera Young of Mansfield, Warren & Sherry Young of Conyers, Jerry & Rita Young of Conyers, Jimmy & Nell Young of Conyers, Delores (Lolly) & Curley Buffington of Conyers, Forest & Elaine Young of Madison, and Lawrence & Linda Young of Covington; 19 Grandchildren, 40 Great-Grandchildren, 5Great-Great Grandchildren; sister, Earline Abbott; several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rubye Elizabeth (Lib) Young, daughter Carolyn Johnson, granddaughter, Trika Buffington Hart and great-grandson Tyler Morris, and several brothers and sisters.
