April Gonzales

April was a loving, dedicated, and incredibly strong mother whose nurturing spirit touched everyone she met. She had a heart that knew no judgment, her door was always open, and she never turned anyone away. April took care of people as if it were her life’s calling, always making sure those around her felt safe, welcomed, and loved.

She had a deep love for music, especially oldies and disco, and found joy in crocheting and spending time outdoors. Flowers, particularly roses, were one of her passions. April’s vibrant personality shone through in everything she did, even her hair, which she loved to color as brightly as her spirit. She cherished sitting and talking with others, truly listening and connecting. No one ever left her presence without hearing her say, “I love you,” because she always made sure you knew how much you mattered.

April is survived by her beloved husband, Antonio Sanchez Gonzales; her children, Miguel Gonzales, Steven Gonzales, David Gonzales, Celena Madril, and Tony Gonzales; and her siblings, Arthur “Seaweed” Madril, Brenda Madril, Pedro Madril, Martin Alderete, Teri Alderete, Paula Alderete, Phillip Alderete, Ramon Lopez, Jesus Esparza, Michelle Madril, Angela Martin, and Lisa Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
