

Burlington was active in sports in his high school years, especially enjoying baseball and wrestling. He later dedicated more than 20 years of his life to his work at Gila River Farms, where he built lasting friendships and took great pride in his contributions to the community.
He loved being outdoors and could often be found riding around, listening to music, or spending time with those he cared about. Burlington especially treasured time with his grandchildren, and he enjoyed relaxing with friends and sharing a drink. Known for his friendly nature and willingness to help anyone in need, Burlington’s kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Burlington is survived by his significant other, Matilda Jones; his children, Amanda Smith, Matthew Jose, Lachelle Anderson, and Yvonne Jose; his sister, Chidette Jose; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Barrington Jose; and his grandparents, Marcella Miller, Thomas Jose Jr., Cyrus, and Edna Kisto.
Burlington will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
