Cheryl Ann Harkey, a hard-working, devoted, and generous woman, passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 71. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, on January 13, 1954, Cheryl was the beloved daughter of Albert Sr. and Eloise Moreno.
A resident of Phoenix, Cheryl was known for her talents in the kitchen, leaving behind a legacy of cherished recipes for her family. She was a strong woman who took great care of everyone around her, and her loud, infectious laugh will be fondly remembered. Cheryl's beauty was evident, and she passed her lovely dimples down to all her grandchildren. Her love for her cats was well known, and her family was the center of her world.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Joseph Jr., Leah, and Carlos Gamez, as well as her sisters, Renee Moreno Wright and Maryjane Moreno. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and one great-grandson, who will carry forward her memory and spirit. Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Harkey, three grandchildren, and her siblings, Doreen Moreno and Albert Moreno Jr.
