Cheryl Denise Johns, 61, of Sacaton, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Born on November 10, 1963, in Sacaton to Elwyn Sr. and Alma Johns, Cheryl lived a life full of love, laughter, and resilience.
Cheryl cherished the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandson, with whom she shared many walks, sunrises, and sunsets. Her strength in the face of illness was an inspiration to all who knew her.
She had a passion for music — enjoying songs from A to Z — and found joy in the simple pleasures of life: thrifting for treasures, sipping her favorite Pepsi, traveling wherever the wind took her, and cooking incredible meals for her loved ones. Her sense of playfulness and warmth brought happiness to those around her.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Terrell Thomas; her daughters, Crystal and Angel Johns; her cherished grandson, and her siblings Lorna Johns and Elwyn Johns Jr . She was preceded in death by her parents, Elwyn Sr. and Alma Johns; her brother, Donald Johns; and her sister, Erlene Marrietta.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved her.
