

Colleen Stone, 75, of Sweetwater, Arizona passed away at home on May 19, 2025. She is survived by her son Andrew D. Moyah and daughter Leona M. Ramirez; grandsons, Jacob, Isaac and Simon Moyah, Michael Manuel, Jayce and Adan Makil; granddaughters Sabrina Sanchez and Verlen Belgarde, 12 great grandchildren, 6 sisters and 5 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Ms. Stone graduated from C.G.U.H.S., class of ‘68. For 22 years she was employed with Gila River Indian Community. In 1994, she worked with the San Xavier District Planning Dept. in Tucson, AZ for 4 years. Colleen came back to work for the Gila River Indian Community in 1998 as an office manager for the Office of Water Rights, 8 years later she retired from the Office of Water Rights.
In her free time, she enjoyed the little things in life, like watching the sun rise and the sun set. She loved listening to the birds chirping and stopping to smell the flowers.
Colleen is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and T. Patricia Stone, her brother Gregory and her sister Lila.
Wake service Friday, May 30th at District 5 Multipurpose Building, 3456 W. Casa Balance Rd, Casa Blanca, AZ, 6pm-10pm; Traditional Services 10pm to 5:30am at her residence, 2419 W. Middle Street, Bapchule, AZ.
Funeral Services Saturday, May 31st, at the Santan Indian Assembly of God Church 2242 Aspen Rd., Stotonic, AZ at 6am burial to follow in Sweetwater Cemetery.
