Elyse Faye Jones

Elyse worked for Gila River Healthcare as a transportation driver, serving others with steady commitment and a quiet sense of responsibility.

Elyse loved her family deeply, with a special place in her heart for all her nieces and nephews. Those who knew her best understood her caring nature, as well as her strong independence. She preferred a private life and never wanted anyone to fuss over her.

In her free time, Elyse found joy in simple pleasures and favorite traditions. She loved watching Comedy Central, especially South Park, and she also loved Godzilla. She enjoyed baking and was always eager to try new recipes. Elyse embraced life fully and made time for travel, going on cruises, attending concerts, and visiting Las Vegas. Wherever she went, she was never without her traveling companion, her bear “Jimmy,” who rode along with her no matter what car she was in.

Elyse is survived by her parents, Edwin and Alicia Jones; her siblings, Earl Kisto, Amy Jones, Amber Jones, Austin Jones, and Augustine Jones; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Iris Garcia.
