A proud USMC Veteran, Franklin served his country with honor and carried that same steadiness and sense of responsibility into every part of his life.
Franklin found genuine satisfaction in working on cars, and he was especially devoted to teaching his children and grandchildren how to care for their own vehicles—patiently sharing what he knew so they could feel capable and confident.
Above all, Franklin was a loving and kind man who cherished his family dearly. His children and grandchildren meant everything to him, and he held close the hope that each would have a strong, fulfilling future. He believed deeply in the value of higher education and encouraged those he loved to pursue it with purpose and determination.
Franklin is survived by his wife, Marie; his daughters and sons, Kimberly, Crystal, Jerome, Mitchell, and Margie; his siblings, Walter, Dwayne, Sheila, and Joe; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Damien Sr.; and 2 sisters.
A wake will be held on Sunday, September 27th beginning at 6pm at the District 5 Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. The following morning funeral services will start at 6am at the Vah Ki Presbyterian Church in Casa Blanca, followed by burial in Vah Ki Cemetery, Casa Blanca.
