

Georgina Charles passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on November 11, 1934, in Sacaton, Arizona, she was the beloved daughter of Hattie Lose and George Antone. Georgina attended Phoenix Indian School, laying the foundation for a life dedicated to service and community.
Georgina was a devoted caregiver at Desert Cove Nursing Center where she touched many lives with her compassion and dedication. Her commitment to the well-being of others was evident in her professional endeavors and personal life.
An active member of her community, Georgina, was particularly involved with the elders in District Five. She was a devoted attendee of Vah-ki Presbyterian Church., She was a cherished member of the original Pima translated choir. Her love for her family and friends was boundless, and she will be remembered for the warmth and kindness she extended to all who knew her.
Georgina is survived by her children, Jackie Zillioux, Mitchell Josey, Robert Jackson, Peggy Jackson, and Veronica Rivers, her sister Connie Antone, and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold Charles, her parents, her son Aaron Losey, her daughter Marlana Jackson, and her siblings Lauanna Lose, Clytus Stewart, Titus Stewart, Franklin Stewart Sr., and Lemmul Stewart.
A wake service will be held on Friday, November 21st, at 5 pm at the District Five Multipurpose Building in Casa Blanca. Funeral services will follow the next morning at Vah-ki Presbyterian Church in Casa Blanca, beginning at 8 am, with burial at Vah-ki Cemetery.
