Howard Dexter Ives

He proudly served his country through seven years of enlistment in the United States Army, a chapter of his life that was an important part of who he was.

Howard is survived by his loving wife Paula (Cybulski) Ives; his daughter Rebecca Ives; his granddaughter, Payton (Smith), Carlson and her husband Dan Carlson, and his great grandson Brayden Carlson. In addition, he is survived by his son, Andre Havasi and his wife Sonia; his grandsons, Nick and Noah Havasi, and his brother Joel Marchetti.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Don Ives; his mother Florence Marchetti and his father Kenneth Ives.

His life touched the people around him in ways that will continue to live on through his family. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created, the love he gave, the part of him that lives on in his children, grandchildren and great grandson will remain forever.

Howard will be laid to rest with military honors in a private ceremony at the Arizona Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
