Israel was known for his love of music, particularly playing the accordion, dancing, and singing. He cherished camping and fishing trips with his dad and sister and enjoyed showing his little brother how to swim. Israel had aspirations of opening a barber shop with automotive care services.
He was a respectful and well-mannered young man, always wearing a great smile. His friendly and outgoing nature endeared him to many, and he was known for checking up on people and offering help wherever possible, even to strangers. Israel had a big heart and was known for his humor, often making others laugh and playfully scaring his family members. He took pride in his appearance, always ensuring he looked his best, and his good looks attracted much attention.
Israel will always be someone to remember. He is survived by his mother, Arlita Pesqueira; his father, Israel Santillan; stepfather, Raul Escalante III; his siblings, Ashley Santillan, Esmeralda Santillan, and Raul Escalante IV; as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents and extended family. He was preceded in death by his very close uncle, Miguel Pesqueira.
