

She attended and graduated from The Arizona State School for the Deaf and the Blind. During her time there, she participated in various activities, she was a mat maid for the school wrestling team and a vocalist in an all-girl trio, “A Patch of Blue.” She enjoyed various hobbies; her favorites were woodworking and ceramics.
In her youth she loved horseback riding, ever the adventurous one she did ride a steer or two. Attending live events, concerts, sports, & WWE was an activity she often loved to do with family and friends. Dancing, music & audible books brought her much joy. Reggae, Gospel, Country, & Ramon Ayala were among her favorites. You would often find her in front of the TV watching sports & movies. She was a loyal San Diego Chargers fan, WWE & old reruns of her favorite tv show MASH were most notable.
Her resiliency never ceased. In her youth she was diagnosed with Stargardt disease which would eventually take most of her eyesight, she learned mobility skills to combat those challenges. She became an advocate for breast cancer awareness after being diagnosed with the disease. She credits her survival to God. Through her many trials she held onto her faith in God.
Her grandchildren, Zyana and Ino were her pride and joy.
A caregiver to many nieces, nephews, grand-nephews & grand-nieces, she often opened her door to others in need. It was always a good time with Auntie Jace.
Jacinta is preceded in death by her parents, Clemencia Leos (Rovales-Pablo) & Crencio Lara, her sisters Cecelia Mallow (Leos), Isabel Manuel (Leos), her brothers Daniel Leos, Jr., Robert Leos of Hashan Kehk.
She is survived by her daughter, Miriam Lara, her granddaughter Zyana Flores, and her grandson Ino Davis. Her sister Kathleen Lara, brother & sister-in-law Gerald Leos, Sr. Geraldine Leos (Johnson), brothers Earl Lara and Ralph Grajiola.
Jace is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, and friends that will cherish the moments they spent with her.
A wake service for Jace will be held on Friday August 1, 2025, from 6-10pm with the recitation of Rosary at 6pm at District 2 Service Center in Hashan Kehk, Az. The funeral mass will take place the following morning, Saturday August 2, 2025, at 6am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Hashan Kehk, Az. Interment to follow at Hashan Kehk Catholic Cementery.
