Born on April 28, 1967, to Lester and Carmelita Antone, Kim lived a life rooted in devotion to her family and service to her community. On June 16, 2023, Kim officially married her husband, Herman, after sharing over 30 years together.
Kim was a dedicated public servant whose career spanned decades. In addition to serving as a former paralegal for Pinal and Gila Counties, she devoted 31 years of faithful service to the Gila River Indian Community. Throughout her impactful career, she served in Realty, the Community Council Secretary’s Office, the Office of the General Counsel, and ultimately as the Director of Land Use Planning and Zoning. Kim took immense pride in assisting Community members with securing their homes and resolving land issues, leaving behind a lasting legacy of care, leadership, and public service.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kim’s greatest joy was her family. She loved traveling with them and creating unforgettable memories. An avid reader with a fondness for vampire novels, Kim had a fun, vibrant spirit—she was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan and delighted in celebrating Halloween every year.
Kim is survived by her husband, Herman Cooper; her children, Michael Withrow, Brianna Withrow, and Elyssa Withrow; her granddaughter, Ariyahna “Aries” Marrietta; her sister, Cynthia Antone; her niece, Diana “Nikki” Antone; her nephew Joshua Benitez and her parents, Lester and Carmelita Antone.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the District 1 Multipurpose Building.
