Lucinda Hancock, 67, of Coolidge, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Casa Grande on January 17, 1958, to Huey and Ethel Simmons, Lucinda was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother; affectionately known as “Grams” by her grandkids.
She was known for her fun-loving nature, boundless kindness, and the way she made everyone feel welcome without judgment. Lucinda had a special way of staying connected, if something happened, she somehow already knew. Her children shared an open, honest bond with her that was rooted in love, laughter, and trust.
She was a devoted fan of classic love stories and had a soft spot for old movies and the timeless music of the Beach Boys. A true romantic at heart, Lucinda also had a practical side, often the designated driver on nights out, sipping one margarita and staying for the music and the company.
Lucinda is survived by her children: Adam Hancock, Ashley Hancock, and Brandy Robles; her sisters: Barbara Mays and Jean Tidwell; and five cherished grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Phyllis Penny.
