Micheala found meaning in the steady, caring work of being a homemaker, creating comfort through the everyday rituals that make a house feel like home. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking, offering warmth and nourishment in ways that spoke quietly but clearly of devotion and care.
Music was another constant presence in Micheala’s life. She loved music and sang out loud, filling her surroundings with familiar melodies and an unmistakable spirit. She also collected wind chimes—treasured keepsakes that were to be admired and respected, and, as those who knew her understood well, not to be touched.
Micheala is survived by her children, Ruben Kisto Jr. and Hope Nish; her sister, Michelle Osife; her brother, Derwin Cooper; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Leona Cooper, and her siblings, Evelyn Gopher, Doreen Allen, Berleen Thompson, Lamuel Thompson, Louann Thompson, Ailene Vavages, Delvin Vavages, Alvin Cooper, Kerwin Cooper, and Michael Cooper.
