Philbert Blaise Juan, 72, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2026. He was born December 8, 1953, in Sacaton, Philbert was the son of the late Gabriel and Carmelita Juan and spent his life rooted in the ties of family and community.
A steady presence to those who depended on him, Philbert helped raise his nephews and became a father figure in their lives. He taught them to ride a bike, took them to the movies, and guided them toward becoming responsibly healthy men. He would do anything for them, and he was a tremendous help to his sister, as she was to him, an enduring bond marked by loyalty, care, and mutual support.
Philbert found enjoyment in the familiar rhythms of everyday life. He loved being on his computer, especially playing Solitaire. He also enjoyed music such as Creedence Clearwater, and he followed sports with interest, particularly football and baseball.
Philbert is survived by his siblings, Kathleen Harvey, Edward Juan, and Joyce Lewis, along with many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gabriel and Carmelita Juan, and his brothers Daniel Juan and Gary Juan Sr., and a nephew Waylon Lewis.
