With steady dedication and quiet strength, Renita spent 21 years working as a cook at the St. Peter's Indian Mission School, faithfully serving others through her work and daily presence.
Renita found deep joy in family life, especially in raising her grandchildren Levi and Lesandro. She loved attending family gatherings and spending time visiting with her relatives, treasuring the closeness of family and the comfort of familiar voices.
In her everyday moments, Renita enjoyed taking drives and listening to music, simple pleasures that brought calm, reflection, and warmth to her days.
Renita is survived by her daughter, Lynn Lewis; her siblings, Warren Santos Sr., Lilly Santos, and Janie Breckenridge; and her grandchildren, Levi, Lesandro, Leise, Lucas, Lelan, and DeliAnna Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leland Lewis Jr.; her siblings, Delilah Tree, Cedric Santos Jr., Steven Santos Sr., Sheila Santos, Carlos Santos Sr., Alberta Breckenridge, Yolanda Quintero, Carol Martinez, and Denise Jackson; and her husband, Leland Lewis Sr.
