Born in Eloy and raised in both Eloy and Coolidge, Ricky made many lifelong friends. For those of us that got to know Ricky closely knew that he had a very adventurous and free spirit, he believed in living life to its fullest.
Ricky is survived by three sisters, Ruby Craig of Phoenix, Terry Cruz of Globe and Frankie Felix of Queen Creek and two brothers, Nick Tidwell of Blythe CA. and Butch Tidwell of Coolidge.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Beatrice Tidwell, and 4 sisters and 6 brothers.
A celebration of life will be held to honor and remember the remarkable impact he had on all of us. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched are invited to gather for a time of remembrance and reflection. The celebration of life service will be held at Cole & Maud Coolidge Chapel on October 3, 2025, at 9:30 am. A graveside reading will be conducted by Paster Robert Brown at the Coolidge Cemetery.
Though we mourn Ricky’s passing, we also celebrate the spirited life he led. Rickey lived by the spirit to challenge the normal, and this should be an inspiration to us each day. May Ricky rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved, and will be dearly missed.
