Robert Daniel “Danny” “Rob” Wagner
Robert Daniel Wagner, lovingly known as Danny and Rob, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026, in Arizona at the age of 68.
Rob was a devoted man of faith, who loved the Lord with all his heart. He often shared God’s loving grace with others and believed everyone needed His love in their lives. His faith guided the way he lived and the way he treated those around him.
Rob proudly joined the United States Navy at only 16 years old, serving aboard submarines and earning his scuba qualification. He carried great pride in his military service, and was honored to have served his country.
He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially golfing, listening to classic rock, spending time playing board games with the family, and making memories with those he loved. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering faith touched everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Linda Gonzalez, and his brother, David, his adoptive father, JJ Wagner.
Rob is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his adoptive mother, Esther Wagner; his siblings, Duane, Christopher, Priscilla, Kathy, Patricia, Diana, and Sharon; his daughters, Danielle and Brittnee; his stepsons, Aaron and Andrew; and cherished grandchildren, Jazmyn, Dezirae, Lillyana, Jacob, Bryden, Katie, Ali, Danica, Ryan, Brooklyn, Jet; and great grandchildren Camila, Julian, and Kendal (with more on the way). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, who will forever cherish his love and memory.
Though he will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, and reunited with his biological mother, Linda. His legacy of faith, service, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
“I have thought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” — 2 Timothy 4:7
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
