Roger Johnson

Roger was known for his love of cars. He enjoyed taking apart motors and rebuilding them. He enjoyed the challenge of repairing cars and trucks. He spent many days and nights at the shop working on cars and trucks. He later moved on to repairing for larger appliances.

Roger fell in love continued to be in love with the mother of his seven children Clarice Thomas-Johnson.

Roger is survived by six of his children Candace Johnson, Richard Johnson, Roger O. Johnson, Kate Johnson, Jeanette Johnson and Margaret Johnson as well as grandchildren Clarice Marie, Antonio, Austin, Ruben, Haylee, Elijah and Shysie and great grandchildren, Asher, Xayn. Roger was preceded in death by the love of his life Clarice Thomas-Johnson and daughter Marie Johnson, his grandson Malachi Johnson, his parents Otis Johnson Sr. and Hazel Johnson and Brothers Robert Johnson and Floyd Johnson.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Gila River Indian Community District 1 Gymnasium 15747 N Shegoi Rd, Coolidge, Arizona 85128. Burial to follow at the North Blackwater Cemetery 1359 E. Huhukam Rd.
