

Rose Marie Vogel, age 97.5, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Rose Marie was born April 13, 1928, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to William and Catherine England and had one younger brother, William England, who preceded her in death. She attended St. Joseph's Academy High School in St. Paul.
Rose Marie’s mother introduced her to a young man, Howard Edward Vogel, and several months later the two were married 1948, and they shared six children and fifty years together until Howard passed on January 19, 1998. Howard and Rose Marie leave a legacy of their lives to fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
Rose Marie is survived by her sons Michael George Vogel and Martin Thomas Vogel and her daughter Mary Vogel-Levendi. Her son, Matthew Joseph Vogel, and daughters Michele Marie Guerin and Margaret Ann Benson have preceded her in death.
Rose Marie was known for her sharp wit and generosity and will be missed by her friends and family. She made a lasting impact through volunteerism with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, the Sodality of St. Joachim and St. Anne Church in Sun City, and the Heritage Foundation. She also donated to countless charities such as the Wounded Warrior Project, Police Federations, Doctors Without Borders, Christian Appalachian Project, and the Southwest Indian Foundation to name a few.
A Memorial will be held for the family at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona where she will be buried with her husband, Howard.
Through gifts and deeds, her spirit shone,
A legacy of kindness, deeply sown.
Her hands reached out, her heart opened wide,
To serve the poor with humble pride.
Family and giving - her life’s true art,
Forever alive in our hearts.
