In his early years, Vaeoletootoo played football in high school and later pursued studies in electronics. Known for his sharp mind, he applied himself with focus and ability, leaving the impression of someone who understood both the value of hard work and the importance of learning.
Vaeoletootoo was, above all, devoted to family. He was a great brother, protective, loyal, and steadfast. He could tease his brother, but he would not allow anyone else to do the same, a quiet testament to the care and responsibility he carried for those he loved. He made sure his family knew he was only one call away, and that reassurance will be remembered as one of his enduring gifts.
He also held close to the Christian traditions that shaped him and believed in his faith. He loved listening to Samoan music and remained deeply traditional, finding comfort and meaning in the familiar rhythms and cultural ties that connected him to home and heritage.
Those who knew Vaeoletootoo will also remember his humor—an easy, welcome presence that could lighten a moment and bring people together.
Vaeoletootoo is survived by his children, Clarissa, Kiano, Jesiah, Isaac, and Gracelyn; his brother, Matthew; his sister, Elizabeth; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faitala Failauga and Sharon Perkins, and his siblings, Toetuua and Jacqueline.
