It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Valerie Ann Lewis, age 39, who left us on May 29, 2025. Born to the loving embrace of Valentino and Annette Lewis on May 5, 1986, Valeries's vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.
A true aficionado of life, Valerie filled her days with music, exquisite cooking, delightful baking, and the joy of dance. She cherished long drives, the magic of movies, and lost herself in the pages of a good book. Yet, the greatest joy in her life came from the moments spent with her beloved children and family, whom she adored beyond measure.
Valerie's legacy is one of love and resilience. She was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Ansela Jane Lewis, along with her paternal grandmother, Anita Santiago, three uncles, and two dear nieces—a reminder of how deeply intertwined love and loss can be.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her surviving children: Nico Johnson, Damien Johnson, Jade Johnson, and Xavian Salminio of Blackwater, Arizona, as well as Harmony Jasmine of Sacaton, Arizona. Valerie is also survived by her cherished siblings: Angelina Lewis, Angela Lewis, Valencia Lewis, and Valentino Lewis Jr. of Sacaton, as well as Tristen Franco, Joseph Lewis, Matthew Lewis, Alejandro Munguia from Bapchule, Arizona, and her sister Valentina Moreno of Coolidge, Arizona. Adding to her circle of love are her companion Pedro Varela and her stepparents, Josefina Franco and Dallas Havier.
Though Valerie's physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit will forever remain woven into the fabric of our lives. She leaves behind an enduring gift of love that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished always, a testament to a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
In honor of Valeries’s memory, services will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, with a visitation at the District 5 Service Center from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Funeral services will follow on Saturday, June 14, 2025, culminating in graveside services in Sacate, Arizona, in Casa Blanca.
J Warren Funeral Services have been entrusted with these arrangements, ensuring that Valerie’s legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate through the lives she touched. In our hearts, Valerie will live on, forever remembered and deeply missed.
