Veronica moved through life with steady strength and a spirited sense of humor. She was known for her ability to joke around and bring lightness to everyday moments, even while facing life’s hardships with resilience and resolve.
A person who rarely sat still, Veronica kept herself busy and took pride in a clean, well-kept home. She enjoyed stitch work, and she found simple joys in her favorite Dutch Bros coffee and in collecting Starbucks cups, small comforts that reflected her attentive, thoughtful nature and appreciation for the everyday.
Veronica also gave of herself to others in meaningful ways. In times of loss within the community, she would make memorial ribbons for those who needed them, offering a quiet, tangible gesture of care when words were not enough.
Veronica is survived by her husband, Xavier; her daughter, Savannah; her sons, Junior and Jacob; her mother and father; and her siblings, Henry Lewis and Polo Santana Jr.
Veronica was preceded in death by her son, Dustin Setoyant Jr.
