It still seems so surreal that my “ little”buddy  is gone. Very hard to accept. 
I still remember visiting him at the hospital, holding him at his baby shower and adoring him ever  since.
Shelly brought TJ over to my parent’s house for the first time when he was six months old. I remember her sitting him down on  the carpet in the family room. I said, “Look mom, this is TJ!” 
Then a few minutes later, I said, “Oh yeah and this is Shelly”. So bad.
Another time I was over visiting Shelly at her place. TJ was a few years old by then and obsessed with Lion King. I tried holding out for as long as possible but he wasn’t waking up from his nap. Just as I was about to leave, he yelled, “Kim, you have time for a short movie?” So cute.
It was very hard moving away from him but I did keep up on how he was doing and made sure I never missed TJ’s birthday. 
TJ did call me this summer which I’ll always be thankful for our last conversation. 
Forever missed, never forgotten.

So sorry to hear about TJ’s passing. He’ll always be remembered for his warm hugs and the way he never shied away from deep, meaningful conversations. I hope he’s found peace among the stars. His spirit is free. Fly high, brother.

No words can express how devastated I was hearing what happened to you, how devastated I am for our daughter. I will do everything I can to be the best for her, for you. She will know your face, your voice, your words, your unconditional love. She will never be without you. You will be with her in every cardinal we see, every sunrise/sunset, every good morning & goodnight hug/kiss, in every way possible. I see so much of you in her every day and I’m so blessed that our beautiful daughter had you as her father. You will always be loved and missed deeply by us. You will never be forgotten. Shelly. Will and  TJ came down to NC, where Scot was stationed, to visit us and be there for the birth of our baby. TJ was about  1 1/2 and I was VERY pregnant and he was running around as little boys do.  His parents kept telling him to watch out, to not bump into me.  He then starts repeating them,  sticking out his own belly and waddling around saying "wash out!"

Man I loved this dude! We got our asses kicked at work together so many times. That type of thing creates a certain awesome bond. Tj, you will be sorely missed. You really were a true friend to me.
