Barb was my aunt on my mother's side. I remember when I was quite young spending a weekend in the Twin Cities with her. I always felt "spoiled by her and I remember she made
an incredible breakfast for me one morning while I stayed with her. She ALWAYS remembered my birthday with a card and a thought. She will always be a special person to me.

I don't know if this classifies as a memory or not, but as I have matured and now am retired
myself, I now recognize the type of tenacity and courage it had to take, to be a young woman, from a small town area, who moved to the Twin Cities and worked her way up in the company ladder. She was a strong independent person her whole life.

I worked with Barb in the area office for many years and enjoyed the Lunch Bunch with her also. We shared our love of animals especially our dogs. I couldn't believe she named one "Engelbert" We did share the love of Englebert
also. I will surely miss her.
