Betty Jo Nelson

Age 77, of Coon Rapids

Passed away on October 19, 2025.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Thelma Barsy; siblings, Kenneth, Judy, Robert, Dale.

Survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Duane Nelson; sons, Anthony (Mandy) Nelson, Jonathan (Lindsey) Nelson; daughter, Rebecca (Kurt) Folstrom; grandchildren, Dustin (April), Brenden, Hannah, Luke, Holden, Hartley; fur babies, Millie, Lilly, Rosie; Betty Jo is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Betty Jo was a pet lover - no matter the animal, if it needed help or a home, Betty Jo would take it in. She also enjoyed gardening and making sure the yard always looked nice. Above all, her greatest joy in life was her family and time spent with them.

Memorial Service 11:00 am Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Gearhart Funeral Home (11275 Foley Blvd. NW., Coon Rapids) Visitation 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
