Betty was most proud of her 53 year marriage to Ron. She loved her time working at Omnetics where she created many lifelong friends. In her time after her kids grew up, she was so proud of her grandchildren. Amber was her life for several years. She had a chance for more grandchildren later in life and most of her conversations revolved around Jerrick and Elikia.
Betty cherished the memories of her trip with Ron to visit Memphis for Elvis Week, then later following Jamie, an Elvis impersonator. They went to Memphis over 10 times and made a lot of lifelong friends there as well. Betty was loved by everyone. Most people would always comment how sweet and nice she was.
