Brenda Anne (Strauss) Weegman

Brenda graduated from Irondale High School in 1998 and attended North Hennepin Community College for her nursing degree. Brenda was an Oncology nurse at Regions Hospital for 13 years. She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016 and continued her work while she fought her own battle. She loved animals and was very excited to take in any stray that needed love - creating a small zoo at home.

She is preceded in passing by her mother, Janet; brother, Brian; mother-in-law, Paulette; and nephew, JT.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Mike Weegman; children, Hana, Bret, Danika; brother, Michael Strauss; father, Michael Strauss; sisters-in-law, Marcy and Mary (Sonny); father-in-law, Lyle; many beloved animals and pets; and many other relatives and friends.

Join us to Celebrate Brenda's Life on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation at 2 pm and service at 3 pm. Appetizers to follow.
