Oh my dear Uncle Charlie, I will miss every big hug followed by a kiss everytime I saw you! Your Love for people was infectious, you spread happiness every where you went. We reminisce alot about the goat named Charlie you brought to our farm, " he's really nice, you'll love him" is what you said! Haha you knew he was a trouble maker and laughed all the way home!! ``Oh Charlie the world will never be the same without you!''  Wonderful memories of you, your laughter and your happy~go~lucky pranks go way back to our childhood days  in Melrose when  you had such a crush on my step-sister.   Then came  the time we were chasing chickens  with fish nets and you tripped and did a belly-flop in our riding arena!  My heart misses you so much!  Then came the time when you, Char, Chad and Chase met us in Wisc. to attend a horse show and Chad lost his billfold at the zoo . Only you could make a joke of it and an enjoyable trip!!! 
Char, Chad and Chase, may it bring you Peace in knowing that Charlie was  loved and will be missed by so many people. Our thoughts and Prayers are with you. We know that Heaven will be a better place with Charlie and Lois watching down on all of us. May God be with you and keep you safe!

My deepest sympathy.  I can almost hear Uncle Chuck’s contagious laughter.  I never saw him without a smile.  My heart breaks for Aunt Char and family.  Hugs and prayers to everyone.

Aunt Chae, Chad, Michelle, Chase, Christine - I am so sorry!  I wish we could be there with all of you. Please know we are praying and sending virtu hugs. 
Uncle Chuck, you were always ready with a joke and a laugh that got the whole room going. I will never forget the time I asked you to chop my hair for my first donation and you just couldn't do it, tou were somafraid I was going to hate the short hair.  So.tou got it ready amd showed Crissy Weeks Uttech how to make the cut. After tou did the deatail work and we all loved how it turned out.  
I am going to miss you so much.  

Heartbroken after learning of Chucks passing. The world will be darker without his bright light. We have so many wonderful memories of our children growing up together. Chuck’s humor and his infectious laugh will stay with us forever! There are so many fun stories of our neighborhood get togethers where Chuck always was the life of the group! He had a  great personality, a big faith and a huge heart. Char, Chad, Chase and your families, there are simply no words to console you, but please know we are holding you in our hearts and prayers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Kate; brother, Valentine “Pete” (Louise); sister-in-law, RuthAnn; and brothers-in-law, Dick Nathe and Joe Goerdt.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Char; sons, Chad (Michelle) and Chace (Christine) Gieske; grandchildren, Gavin, Parker, and Ruby; siblings, Jim, Dorine (Vic) Sunderman, Joni Nathe, and Marian Goerdt; and other family and friends, including his loyal customers
