Big D. Hmm what can I say. As I write this my eyes fill with tears. You really are one of the good ones. We had many a memory growing up together. Late night basketball on your driveway, your neighbor didn't like. Cruising main in Anoka. Shrink wrapping Dave's truck during halftime of the senior homecoming game, getting busted but encouraged to finish the job by the VP school cop. Sitting in the VP office for the balloon incident and imitations of beavis and butthead the whole time. You are missed and loved big D. I'm sorry I wasn't closer. I will cherish our last conversation forever brother.
Till the next PBDT,

Darren was a great dad to Payton. He thought her how to ride a bike for the first time, he woke up with her at times when she had her bloody nose episodes. He was a very caring man. Even though we had our differences in the end, it does not diminished the many good years we did share and how much joy and love he brought to our lives. Darren will always be Payton's dad in her eyes even though we haven't seen him for 6 months. You will forever still be in our hearts. I thank God of bringing you to my life.

Darren was one of my favorite people in my life.
He was generous, loving, a good friend. His heart was bigger than himself and he carried himself with such strength and happiness. I think of him often. My prayers and love go out to his family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss.

Where do I begin...I have known Darren...aka Big D since he was 16 years old and he became great friends with my brother Dave. .their are so many memories of him and The Guys I have of them from hanging out after school to Friday nights after thr football games. To them sleeping downstairs at my parents house. He was like another brother to me...they all are. We, they had the best time hanging out. Big D always made people laugh when around him. He is going to be missed by All who knew him. He was a great Friend to so many. RIP DARREN...AKA BIG D
