Diane Joy Rosby 71, of Coon Rapids, MN passed away surrounded by the best possible care from loved ones at home on January 9th, 2021.

She was born to Harvey and Henrietta Anderson on January 18, 1949 in Fergus Falls, MN. Growing up in Barrett, MN with brothers and sisters Jerry, Larry, Tyrone, Vicki, Lori, Robin and Shari. She married Roger Rosby in 1968 and enjoyed finding him things to do for 52 years. Shane was born in 1975 and he became their focus. Having worked at Jostens after college at U of MN-Morris,

Diane wanted to be at home with her son but wanted to work. She became a licensed day care provider. For over 25 years many children were raised in the home 5-6 days a week with love, education, honor and respect being shown and carried on to the world as the fruits of her labor. Mom retired from daycare and went to work for Eniva. She so enjoyed her job, the company and the friends she made there. Her three grandchildren were her most cherished loves. Tristen, Chase and Sierra were always in the front of her mind and held her heart. Her best days were shared with them and Roger.

She always enjoyed spending time with her family in the Barrett area. Diane and Roger also enjoyed spending time with friends at Pathfinder Village. Many became like family after 40 years of raising kids, 4 wheeling, playing cards and many campfires and suppers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Henrietta; brother, Tyrone; sister-in- law, Barb; nephews, Jared, Keith, Corey; and very special friend Elia.

Roger,

I was so sorry to hear you lost Diane. I'm sure this is a difficult time for you, but I wanted to let you know that even Cousins that you haven't connected with for years think of you in your time of sorrow. You and I connected when your Mother married Vernon and we celebrated together being the same age. Maybe we can reconnect next summer at the reunion.

All of us at Eniva loved Diane dearly. She was a very smart lady and could do math in her head while on the phone like nobody’s business. She had such a generous heart and made all her customers feel special. Even when she had a challenging customer, she put on a smile and loved all over them. Her coworkers adored her, always checking to see if she had brought in any goodies from Rogers garden. She had kind words for everyone, and was one of the hardest workers you could ever want on your team. One of our most favorite memories was spending a week with her and Roger on the Eniva Alaskan cruise!! Such an organized and competent gal, she was a god-send at all our company events. When Diane retired, she was sorely missed, but we were so happy she could spend more time with her family. Now she can see all of them and love on them from above! God blessed us greatly with Diane and we are grateful for all the goodness she brought into our lives. With love, Mark and Mary Veloske, Andy and Ben Baechler, Ann and Russ Bertsch and all the Eniva Family

My Hero.

I believe that my beautiful, strong, wonderful, incredibly brave friend Diane, had a “wild child” tucked deep inside her middle – senior aged woman’s body. I believe that “wild child” was her Superwoman power. I loved that “wild child.” The one that wanted to spike her hair, the one that four piercings in each ear, that one that loved a Scotch after a super hard sixteen hour day at work.

The one that couldn’t understand why there wasn’t peace and love across the world. That “wild child” is still my hero. I will love and miss her always.

My sweet Diane, I want to say thank you so much for helping me raise my boys, you taught them to respect and honor the people they loved most. You taught me to be strong in hard times and to always keep my chin up for my boys. You will forever be loved and thought of daily. Rest in peace my sweet Diane.
