Dianne Lynn Tauer, née Beck, 81, of Brooklyn Park, born Sept. 2, 1943, passed away July 24 at home. An excellent designer, she created badges, signs, and novelties at the plastics engraving company she owned for several years. Her talents extended to numerous interior design and home renovation projects that she and her husband worked on over the years as well as to sewing home accessories, gifts, and attire for family and friends. She was an active square dancer, cyclist, camper, canoeist, and kayaker who enjoyed travel to all 50 U.S. states and Europe. Always an animal lover, she was a proud pet parent to Ashley, Sunshine, Chuckles, and a flock of eight parakeets.
Preceded in death by parents Chester and Elrene (Lindman) Beck, Dianne is survived by husband, Wayne; children Lynne (Phillip Goldman) and Cory (Melanie); siblings Sandra Svee (Jerry), Greg Beck (Peggy), and Jeff Beck (Andrea); brothers-in-law Lyle Tauer (Christine) and Kevin Tauer; and extended family and friends.
Services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by service at 2 p.m.
