I'm sad to say goodbye to my cousin. I remember lively camping trips with Aunt Lois and the crew and going to Powderhorn Park to see fireworks with them too! And then there's Lisa Bear. I've had her since I was 4. I thought I had Joey's bear... but Buddy says it was his bear I got... I still have that bear to this day, so will always remind me of my Dillree cousins either way!
Love ya Cuz!

I had the honor of serving with Dismas in multiple Army units. A very dedicated leader when it came to the mission and especially the Soldiers around him. He absolutely made the unit a better place. A true professional and an even better person! You will be missed Brother!

I had the privilege of serving in both the 101st and 1st CAV with Dismas. I deployed with him twice, once as his commander. He could always be depended on doing what was right and as his commander I could depend on him to take on the tough tasks that no one else would. I directly saw his mentorship to young maintainers and his drive to always produce the best product. These events are never easy and Dismas will always hold a place in my heart as he played a key role in my life for many years. I already miss you and I am forever grateful to have had shared time with you. I look forward to the day that I see you again.

Dismas you are always on our mind and in our hearts. Thank you for being part of our family. I am so happy that Rebecca brought you into our life. We didn't get much time, but the times we had fishing and cooking out and the talks we had will always be cherished. We will see each other again.

Even though we ended up divorcing, we remained close friends and co-parents until the end. He was a dedicated soldier and an amazing father. He was the strongest person I ever met. I will miss his sense of humor and his ability to see the positive in any situation. Fly free...,

SSG Dillree, a true professional. Always a mentor, trainer, counselor, leader. He loved the Army and the soldiers that came with it but loved his son more. Thanks for the coffee and the conversation during the long days.

See you on the Green!
