My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this trying time. My Aunt Dora was a very special person to me in so many ways. Your whole family was very close while we were growing up. Visiting the farm many times. Also your Dad and my dear friend and cousin Joyce are truly missed. All the memories I have of you all are in my heart.

So many memories of our years growing up with our families..now grandpa & grandma have all their "babies" with them..we truly miss them all..rest in peace, Aunt Dora..we love you & your family..

When a saint has run the race and crossed the finish line, they pass off their baton to the next runner... I was amazed to hear the message shared by Jimmy at the funeral today. Not only have you clearly and mightily taken ahold of it, but i believe you recruited a lot of runners to grab the baton as well! I admire you so much, and was so glad to be there, for I knew the Holy Spirit would be all over you. Seeing mom off is one of the hardest things I know in my life, but thank God we get to be carried through it by our King

We are rejoicing with all of the Saints in Heaven as they welcome her in!  Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.

Jimmy  I know how much you miss your Mom already, but soon we will all be reunited with loved are ones.

Jesus has you in his arms at this time, for He knows the sorrow of saying goodbye to a loved one.  The only time we know that Jesus wept was when He observed the sorrow of Mary and Martha at Lazarus death.  Call out to the Lord and ask to let you feel His hug.  Close your eyes and envision His arms about you with your face buried in His chest.  Go ahead and cry He will catch every one of your tears.  He loves you so much!

John, Joanne, Jim, Julie and family,
I was saddened to hear of "Mom" Dora's passing. She was a wonderful woman who didn't think twice about taking me under her wing and making me feel like part of the family when I was young, homesick, and so needing to be around family. Your mom/grandma was a special lady...she worked hard, raised a delightful family,and her love of the Lord showed in how she lived her life.  I rejoice with you that she is now in a glorious and better place with her loved ones. I am sorry that I can't be with you to celebrate her life today as I am out of town but my thoughts will be with you.

We are sure your momma is so proud of her amazing family. She lives on eternally and in your hearts! We are holding all of you close iin  prayer at this time.

Mom - What a great reunion is going on in heaven right now, I am not sure who is smiling bigger - Dad or Joyce.  

I have great joy in heart because of how you continued to witness your faith, especially these past few years while you lived at The Homestead - memories that I will cherish the rest of my life.

I love you and will miss you dearly.

Sympathy to the family of Dora as they celebrate their Mom's wonderful life. Dora was always interested in keeping in touch with relatives. May she rest in peace as she is reunited with her beloved husband, Norman.
