Age 92 of Anoka.
Died December 10th attended by the able staff of Walker Plaza & Moments Hospice.
Served his country in WWII as a Navy Radio Technician on the USS Cacapon. Returned to Duluth, MN to help start & run first color TV station there. Married Lola Cole (deceased ’14) in 1955. Together raised 3 surviving Children, Scott (Stephanie) Cole, Lee Cole, Jill (Bill) Mesaros; Also Grandchildren, Lauren Cole (Max Arndt), Danielle Cole, Jared (Jillian) Hedlund, Jordan (Allen); Sister Ileen Mattson; Brothers-in-law Harvey (Kathy) Sedgwick, Larry Sedgwick.
Servant leader in his church (Anoka UCC), and community. Cub & Boy Scout leader, confirmation teacher, marriage equality advocate. Ran a family wireless telecom business for many years, then retired to travel the country via RV’s (many :) with Lola. Always social, loved games & having fun with family ‘til the end.
