Edna Mae Yentsch (Weight) Age 80, of Coon Rapids Lost her battle to metastatic small cell lung cancer on October 12, 2020

Preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Erma Weight; brothers, Leon, Donald, and Gilbert Weight; sisters, Leona (Frank) Hall, Verna Weight and, Nona Steiner.

Survived by her daughter, Lynn (Darwin) Money; son, Thomas Yentsch; grandchildren, Jerrid (Rebecca) Money, Ryan (Mikayla) Money, and Sarah Money; sister, Otelia Weight; sister-in-law, Emma Jean Weight; brother-in-law, Jerry Steiner; further survived by other relatives and close friends.

Edna retired from Honeywell; she enjoyed playing cards and outings with her friends. She always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and family on holidays and traveling.

Edna grew up on her family’s small farm in Oakes, ND.

In horning Edna’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo, MN; for her family and close friends will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Buffalo, MN.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned for a future date and will be announced.

I worked with Edna and played Bingo with Edna right before Covid hit. She was a fun and caring woman . I enjoyed working with her and am so glad I got to see her not long ago. God Speed Edna. Prayers and Hugs for the family.
