Born August 20th, 1934, to Elsie (Weiner) Shultz and Frank Joseph Shultz, died at age 91 on June 23, 2026.
Frank grew up in Hinckley, MN, and graduated from Hinckley High School in 1952.
He served in the U. S. Air Force and was stationed for several years in Puerto Rico. He became an official court reporter and worked his whole career in the Tenth Judicial District, which included eight counties, but most of this time was spent in Stillwater, MN, working in turn for 3 wonderful judges. Wm. Johnson, Esther Tomljanovich and Gary Schurrer.
His great love was the accordion. He learned to play it in high school and because his school was only a couple of blocks from his house, he would run home during his lunch hour to practice songs.
After High School, he started an old-tyme 3-piece band with some friends, and entertained at various events such as wedding dances, birthdays and anniversary parties. Through the years, he continued playing for family events and then after retiring in 1994, began entertaining with his accordion at nursing homes and other events.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Frank and Elsie Shultz; sisters, Kay (Jim) Pavelka, Ruthanne (Doug) Pulkrabek, Alyce (Elmer) Davis; brother, Bob (Gerry) Shultz; brother-in-law, Arne Johnson
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Julie (Dan) Nelson, Scott (Adele) Shultz, Kris (Dan) Kalbow & Joe (Deb Johnson) Shultz; 15 grandchildren, TJ (Sarah) Barr, Matt (Elissa) Barr, Bri Jensen, Rylie Nelson, Kris, Rian and Joe Shultz, Eryn (Colin) Kim, Alec (Emily) Kalbow, Hailey, Maddie and Kenzie Kalbow, Clarissa Shultz, Christy Hawkins and Jake Shultz; 14 Great Grandchildren; his sister, Jeannie Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial 11am Tue. 6/30/26 at The Church of St. Paul (1740 Bunker Lake Blvd NE, Ham Lake) Visitation 10am until time of Mass.
