Genevieve will be deeply missed by her children, Billie Brown, Don R. Ellenson and Angela Phillips; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Sanna Kruppenbacher; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ethel Miller; brother, Harold L. Miller; husband, Donald D. Ellenson; son, Christopher T. Ellenson.
Genevieve graduated from Murray High School in 1959. She was passionate about music. She participated in high school marching band, sang in many church choirs, and played piano and reed organ. She was a longtime member of Way of the Lord Church in Blaine, MN. Gen’s life centered on her faith and her family. She was a cat lover earning her the moniker “cat whisperer.”
Service for Genevieve will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Broadway Village Community Room, 6046 W Broadway, New Hope visitation will begin at 10am until time of service at 10:30am. Luncheon will be served at 12pm. Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or Lewy Body Dementia Association.
