Harry was born on August 20, 1937. He was a founding member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Ham Lake and loved to worship his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He enjoyed going to many outdoor concerts, the State Fair, riding his lawn tractor, watching birds and listening to music on their four season porch. But most of all he loved living his life alongside of his wife and soulmate Judy whom he married at a young age. He cherished his times spent with family and was loved by everyone who knew him. He worked at Montgomery Wards until his retirement. He served in the US Army and was a proud military veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Lancaster) Babler; sons, Michael (Kathy) Babler of Blaine, MN, David (Bobbie) Babler of Ham Lake, MN and Ken Babler of Andover, Mn. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren: Aimee, Emily, Gloriahna, Kayla, Jeffrey, Jacob, Danielle and Jonah Babler and 1 great grandchild, Colton. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Freire of Monterey Park, CA. Preceded in death by his brother Paul Babler.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday February 11th at 11:00 am at St. Paul’s Catholic Church 1740 Bunker Lake Blvd NE, Ham Lake, MN with Rev. Jim Livingston officiating.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Friday February 11th at 10:00 am until the time of service. Eulogy will begin at 10:30 AM. Following the funeral mass there will be a luncheon and then a burial at 2:00 PM at Morningside Memorial Gardens, 11800 University Ave NW, Coon Rapids, MN.
