

Age 89 of Blaine passed away March 4, 2026. Preceded in death by daughter, Joanne Minor; son, John Davison; parents, Marjorie and Clinton Davison; siblings, Cliff Davison (Mabel), Delight Schneider (Elmer), Robert Davison (Connie) and great granddaughter, Jillian Larson.
Jack was born in Watertown, New York on August 29, 1936. He grew up in Harrisville, New York and graduated from high school at 16 years old. Jack went to Business school and worked with a trucking company before he joined the Air Force in 1957. His final assignment was with the 2465th (CONAC) in Minneapolis working in Accounting and Finance where he met the love of his life Judy. Upon discharge he started his career working for Marsh McLennan in 1960. Jack married Judy on April 15, 1961, and had three children John, Jennifer, and Joanne. He was a devoted husband and father. He passed on his joy of traveling to his children; they took many road trips each year. When not traveling the country, they pursued camping throughout Minnesota. Jack loved traveling, golfing, fishing, hunting, and old-time western books & movies. They did several trips to Canada, Hawaii, and Mexico. They also enjoyed going on cruises and spending winters in Florida. He worked for 32 years with Marsh McLennan before enjoying 33 years of retirement! In 2014 he was diagnosed with lung cancer. He chose to join a drug study program, that included chemo and radiation which allowed him to remain cancer free. Jack had one of the finest medical teams which included Dr. Jacobs and Dr. Baker. During the last year he had frequent bouts with pneumonia, yet his spirits remained high.
Survived By: Wife, of 64 years Judith; Daughter, Jennifer Thomas (Michael); Grandchildren, Joshua Larson, Jeremy Larson (Johanna), Erik-Jon Davison (Kelsey), Samantha Hanzal (Michael), Sarah Nonnemacher (Alex); Great Grandchildren, Greyson, Noah, Beckham, Griffin, Kaleb, and Jack. Many Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday May 2nd at 11 am at Gearheart Funeral Homes located at 11275 Foley Blvd. N.W., in Coon Rapids, MN. Visitation will be 10 am until time of service.
