Jackie Hanson

Jacqueline 'Jackie' Grace Hanson passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on June 23, 1933, the second of eleven children to Clifford and Sophie Olson. Jackie resided in Andover, Minnesota.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jens Hanson; daughter, Susan (Gary) Ellestad; sisters, Mary (Willard) Lawrence, Audrey (Doug) Kirk, Jeannie Olson, Amelie (Dave) Butler.

Survived by her children, Nancy (Scott) Swenson, Fred Hanson, Bruce (Kim) Hanson; grandchildren, Stacy (Jon) Connolly, Adam (Jessica) Ellestad, Bill Rogman, Bryon Rogman, Nicole (Rob) Peterson, Robbie (Kayla) Swenson, Mac Grant; great-grandchildren, Brady, Evy, Jakob, Jaxson, Hunter, Cody, Kaylee, Emily, Ashley, Maggie, Filip, Avalon; siblings, Clifford (Barb) Olson, Raymond (Cory) Olson, Sharon (Ray) Johnson, Louisa (Don) Nelson, David (Karen) Olson, Paul (Pam) Olson. Jackie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jackie was a lifetime member of Kraus-Hartig VFW Post 6587, Spring Lake Park. She also enjoyed spending summers at Pathfinder Village in Hinckley since 1984. Jackie retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 40+ years and was a member of the Covered Wagon Club.

Funeral Service 11am Thur., Jan. 15, 2026, at Transform Church (1657 161st Ave. N.W., Andover) Visitation 10am until the time of service.

Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to Cross of Christ Church in Coon Rapids.
