Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 64 years, Phyllis; children, Deborah (Doug) Winter, Sheila (Jared) Henzlik, Tim (Kristi) Ryman; grandchildren, Mike, Tommy, Brittany, Taylor, Jordan (Ben), Lauren, Nick, Lily; siblings, Barb and Dick.
Jim served in US Navy from 1952-1956 aboard USS Sitken. He enjoyed tending to his vegetable gardens, roller skating, and attending auctions and garage sales. “Buy high, sell low, make it up in volume” was his motto. He will be most remembered for being social and never missing his daily happy hour.
Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 3pm to 6pm at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date.
