

He is survived by his best friend and love, Tracy Canon; children, Kyle and Olyvia Fondie, Autumn Rasmussen, Garrik, Kholton and Wyatt Martin; parents, Jerry and Vicki; brothers, Tony, Matt, Steve (Monica), Paul (Ani); nieces and nephews, Tess (Jon), Zander, Shae (partner Kim), Isaac, Zack, Taylor, Cole, Thomas, Claire and his godmother, Gina Richardson; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service 1PM Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Church of St. Paul, 1740 Bunker Lake Blvd. NE, Ham Lake. Visitation 4-8PM Fri. with a prayer service at 7PM at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
In Jarrod's younger years, he enjoyed playing competitive hockey for Blaine High School and was a National contender in the Amateur Motocross circuit, winning 2nd place at the National Championships. He was a graduate of NEI College of Technology in Columbia Heights and the proud owner of Vapor Trail Archery since 1993. He was well known in the archery world within the US and overseas, winning numerous archery competitions in Minnesota most notably his 10 years as state champion. He loved to share his knowledge with others including Vapor Trail's many faithful employees that supported the business as well as Jarrod's business partner, his brother, Steve.
Jarrod was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on his cabin, golf, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. He will be missed by all of the many people who knew and loved him.
